Contradictions and their concrete manifestations: an activity-theoretical analysis of the intra-organizational co-configuration of open source software
نویسنده
چکیده
Introduction Dialectical contradictions, as conceptualized in Cultural-Historical Activity Theory (CHAT), can be used fruitfully as an analytical tool in order to study organizational change associated with the introduction of new technologies (Groleau, Demers, Lalancette, & Barros, 2011). Drawing from the work done by Engeström and Sannino (2011), this paper aims to contribute to the operationalization of CHAT contradictions by looking at their concrete manifestations. Examples from a case study analysis of the implementation of an open source learning platform (Moodle) in a Canadian university are used to show how the members of this organization experience the contradictions in their daily work.

Introduction: In this study, we investigated the role of N-Methyl-D-Aspartate (NMDA) receptors in the ventral hippocampus (VH) and their possible interactions with GABAA system on anxiety-like behaviors. Methods: We used an elevated-plus maze test (EPM) to assess anxiety-like behaviors and locomotor activity in male Wistar rats. Results: The results showed that intra-VH infusions of diffe...
